Holiday Portraits are a few of my favorite things.
I love Christmas time. Just the sight of twinkling lights and the idea of all the homemade goodies makes my heart smile. It starts in September and I am like a little kid counting down the days until black Friday, not because I care about the shopping but because that is the day I am "allowed" to put up our tree. With out fail on the Friday after Thanksgiving I put up our tree, even if that is all I accomplish. Last year we went to visit family for Thanksgiving but before we left I had everything pulled out so when we got home late Friday afternoon I could put up the tree and just bask in the joy of the lights bouncing off the walls.
Receiving a Christmas card is one of the best things I get in the mail these days, well that and my amazon packages. I normally decorate the front of our fridge with them and if yours has a photo, man it will likely stay there all year. To me, it means so much when people take the time to send them. Especially if you have your family portrait on there because I know how hectic it can be to get that portrait done. Sure iphones take good pictures but not really card worthy portraits you want to sit on someone's fridge for a year (or more).
Which is why I am freaking out a little because it is November and I have not event started the process of creating Christmas cards. With our move to Brighton and getting settled-in time has gotten away from me. Have you found yourself in that predicament too? Well it isn't too late yet and I am really excited to have been able to set up space to offer holiday portraits this year.
I have three wonderful holiday backdrops to choose from and a few simple, solid color backgrounds too. I will be offering these studio style portraits at the Fairfield by Marriott in Brighton CO but availability is limited to November 28th to December 9th. If you prefer an on location session contact me today to discuss it in more detail. Sessions completed by December 2nd have the best possible chance of having images for your Christmas cards on time so don't wait another moment to contact me.
